19.9. Vilu & Nälkä were attending for Juoksukuninkuus race and placements were Nälkä 3rd, Vilu 4th. Both my boys runned good runs. It was good way to stop racing season.

29.9. Nura completed her racing license. We are so happy. Thank you Satu for helping us.

8.8.2009 Finnish Championship races, Hyvinkää

Nälkä did good job and was 3rd. At preliminary run he did his new personal record at 350m distance. Vilu didn't have right to participate but he runned as test dog for equipments. He also runned his new personal record at 350m distance.

22.8.2009 Finnish Championship coursing, Vesanka

Both boys were taking part. At preliminary run both lose lure. Vilu didn't reach for finals. Nälkä killed bunny wheel at finals. No placements for my boys at this event.

Last saturday we were at lure coursing competition at Ylistaro. Place was very nice sand pit with very fine sand. Weather was sunny and warm. Soya runned very good preliminary run but didn't reach to the finals. Her points were 2 below limit of finals. Nura did good work at her LC-debyt.  Vilu was second and his result was worth of certificate. Nice day indeed.

13.6. Vilu & Nälkä partisipated at Finnish sprinter champion race at Oulu Virpiniemi race track. Nälkä runned with very strong intensity and make new track record and take also Tähtisprintteri 2009 (Star Sprinter) title! Vilu disqualified at preliminary run.

28.6. Tampere Kauppi, Nälkä is now also Derby winner 2009 at track racing! Derby is championship race for three years old dogs.

Nälkä started his LC season with winning SIC (Italian Greyhound & Cirneco dell Etna Club of Finland) lure coursing winner -09 title! He also got his first LC-CAC. We are so proud about our little man!

May I present: Samoems Saree

Our new princess Saree has arrived to Finland at Valentine's day. She is very adorable puppy. Thank you Tim Teillers for letting we have this wonderful puppy.

Also I have news about shows. Our saluki Stenara Afarim Ahrkad finished his FI CH title at Turku international dog show in the end of january. He was 2nd best dog over 25 dogs.

Last weekend we had a trip to Hailuoto. There was the last lure coursing competition at this year in Finland. Salukis runned at saturday. It was pretty windy and cold weather. Our team were all making their debut at lure coursing fields. Oliwer and Soya runned very nice but they didn't reach to finals.

Sunday was luckily warmer and not so windy. All 7 iggies runned very well. Vilu and Nälkä participated also. Vilu had 229 points at preliminary run but didn't make to finals. Nälkä's points were 247 + 258 = 505 (worth of certificate) and 4th placement. Nice work for both boys.

We had a very nice weekend.
